Milwaukie is growing and changing, and I’m stoked to have scored a Mid-Century Modern ranch there last year. Often overlooked by Portlanders, I’m here to share some of my favorite parts of Milwaukie:

The holy trifecta of cool:

Stepping into Great American Video is like time traveling back to the ‘90s. They serve ice cream, frozen custard, and coffee, and have a full selection of new and old DVDs. Serving Milwaukie since 1983!

Urban Warrior is the only ninja obstacle gym (similar to the American ninja warrior TV show) in Portland. Their epic obstacle course is available for parties, groups, or personal fitness.

Stronger Skatepark is a queer-owned skate park that provides a safe and clean space for people of all ages and abilities. They offer summer camps too!

And a newcomer to the area, family-owned Decibel recently opened to meet our need for a cool bar in town. They were recently featured on the cover of Portland Monthly and got this nice write-up!
